Attendance Compiler (Excel)
The Attendance Compiler in Excel, easier to adapt to your school’s tracking conventions.
Why it’s here
The Excel edition of the Attendance Compiler produces the same attendance analysis as the HTML version. The maker recommends it for teams that want to adapt the formulas to their school’s tracking conventions, or whose SSOE laptops restrict browser-based files.

What this does
The Excel version of the Attendance Compiler — the original Palantir Mini incarnation of this tool. Takes School Cockpit attendance data (RE_SDT_032) and produces the same three views as the HTML version: daily attendance trends, student-level deep-dives, and Long-Term Absentee (LTA) tracking.
How this differs from the HTML version
Format: Excel — .xlsm + companion template; HTML — single .html file.
Opens with: Excel — Excel; HTML — any browser.
First-time setup: Excel — May need Privacy / Macros workaround (see One-Time Set-up); HTML — Just double-click.
Familiarity: Excel — Spreadsheet-native; HTML — Web-app feel.
When to use this over the HTML version
Your SSOE laptop has been restricting browser-based files
You prefer working in Excel directly
You need to tweak/extend formulas yourself
